Delete your Runpik account
Last updated: June 24, 2026
This page explains how to request deletion of your Runpik account and the data associated with it. Runpik is an AI product photography app operated by an independent developer. If you have any questions, contact us at [email protected].
1. Delete your account from within the app
The fastest way to delete your account is directly in the Runpik app:
- Open the Runpik app and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm the request.
Your account is then scheduled for deletion. There is a 7-day grace period during which you can cancel the request by signing back in and choosing Cancel deletion. After 7 days, your account and associated data are permanently deleted automatically.
2. Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app, you can request account deletion by email:
- Send an email to [email protected] from the email address associated with your Runpik account.
- Use the subject line "Account deletion request".
We will verify your identity using your account email and process the deletion. We aim to complete email-based requests within 30 days.
3. What data is deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove the personal data linked to it, including:
- Your account record and login credentials (email, and password hash if you registered with email and password).
- Your profile information (display name and avatar).
- Photos you uploaded ("Input Images") and the AI-generated images produced from them.
- Your analyses, projects, generation history, and free-text prompts.
- Your credit balance and credit transaction ledger.
4. What data may be retained, and for how long
After deletion, limited data may be retained only where necessary:
- Encrypted backups: residual copies in routine encrypted backups are purged within 30 days.
- Legal and security records: where required by applicable law (for example, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or prevent fraud and abuse), we may retain a minimal set of records for a limited period, after which they are deleted.
We do not use your photos to train AI models, and we do not sell or publish them. For full details on how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.
